Crescent Moon’s Kindra is a donation lot for the “I Love Alpacas” marketing campaign. All proceeds from her sale will go to that program as we continue to focus on marketing for our industry. The lovely Crescent Moon’s Kindra is the full sibling to mega champion Crescent Moon’s Kemmaus, now owned by the good people of Buck Brook Alpacas and Rosehaven Alpacas on the east coast. To be correct, she is listed as a medium brown but upon shearing her this year she appeared more dark brown to this observer. Nonetheless, her genotype tells us she might as well be black so whatever color you want her to be she can be just that!!! Kindra is rock solid! She keeps an expressive fleece with good density and staple growth for the growing period, nearly 11 months with 5 inches of growth. She is even in micron throughout. Her head type is pleasing and her demeanor agreeable. No surprise at all considering that both her parents are about as laid back as they come. By the time of this sale, she will be of breeding age. Take her and show her next year or send her straight to the breeding barn. When it comes to her pairing, the options are incredible. Kindra can be bred to any solely owned Crescent Moon Stud. We’ll encourage the selection of either Crescent Moon’s Mattathias or Crescent Moon’s Abel.
