Marestail: Fall vs. Overwintered Root System
Over-wintered marestail may still be small above ground, but the established root system makes it more difficult to control next spring.
Newly emerged marestail is easier to control since the root system is not as developed.
How To Use Rate & Timing

Tank Mix Partners Glyphosate, 2,4-D/2,4-D LVE and/or dicamba (refer to label) Rotational Flexibility 2 fl oz/A or less Field Corn (minimum and no-till): 7 days Field Corn (conventional tillage): 30 days 1 Soybeans: immediately Wheat: 30 days 1 Up to 3 fl oz/A Field Corn (minimum and no-till): 14 days Field Corn (conventional tillage): 30 days 1 Soybeans: immediately Wheat: 2 months 1 Up to 4 fl oz/A Field Corn, Soybeans and Wheat: 4 months 1 At least one inch of rainfall/irrigation must occur between application and planting or crop injury may occur.
