Cost Eective Herbicide Solution For White Mold Suppression White mold is a common disease found in Midwestern soybean fields that, depending on time of infection, can cause significant yield loss. Wet weather, cool temperatures, high humidity, and moist soil during bloom and early pod development are prime conditions for the occurrence of white mold. If possible, growers should take action against white mold before any signs of infection. Cobra® Herbicide is an eective tool to help suppress white mold and minimize yield loss at a 6 fl oz/A rate. Cobra applied at the 12 fl oz/A rate can also provide postemergence control of more than 54 weeds.

Managing White Mold Apply Cobra between V5 (five leaf nodes) and R3 (early pod development) with optimum timing at R1 (early flowering) Cobra jump starts the plant’s natural defense system to protect against white mold infection If a mature soybean plant (R3) is severely infected with white mold, it is too late to make an application. The later the product is applied after soybeans begin to flower, the less eective any control mechanism will be. If weed control is the target of the application, growers must use the full 12 fl oz/A rate of Cobra
