Having survived the big freeze and flurries of snow, we’re warming up for the MRG Christmas party, and the tinsel – adorned finish line is in sight. Some fees have been frozen until 2023 which has held us back in the UK, but the Glob - al teams have improved on their outstanding result for December with even more completions they’ve pulled out of their stockings. Welcome to vol.8 of the mrg newsletter – a festive special as Christmas is around the corner
Performance update As we heard in our 2022-2023 Market Briefing, 2022 Q4 has been a challenging quarter, with candidate pools scarce. However, as we reach the end of the year we have again ris - en to the challenge! UK con - versions are £400k for the
month, with Global conver - sions £240k. We are finishing the year strongly – forward fees into 2023 Q1 look promising. Roll on 2023 and reaching new heights!
Csr Group We’ve had a range of successful charity events this year, rais - ing money for important causes whilst having fun. Let’s have a look at some of them here. Charity raffle – may 2022 We hosted our first fundraiser, for our chosen charity, Suited for Success, at The Boot and Flogger pub near Borough Mar - ket. Suited for Success help unemployed individuals prepare for a job interview by providing free interview coaching, em - ployment preparation skills and interview clothing to make sure that everyone can make a great first impression. The quiz saw a lot of people's competitive side come out, with it coming down to a tiebreaker to decide the winning team. We sold over 500 tickets for the raffle, which raised an incredible £730 . The thames bridge trek – september 2022 A team of 8-strong set off from Putney Bridge and walked a staggering 25km to beyond Tower Bridge. We set out with the goal to raise £2,000 for this amazing charity, and the team smashed it with the total reaching £3,215 . The great mrg bake off/Christmas jumper day – nov/dec 2022 Following the success of the Thames Bridge Walk in Septem - ber, the CSR team hosted the GREAT MRG BAKE OFF and Af - ternoon Tea – Served by the Directors at the end of Novem - ber, raising £350 . Congratulations to Leena Lais, who won the top prize for her no-bake Biscoff Cheesecake, earning the coveted Simon Cheshire handshake. Second and third prizes went to Hannah Searle for her delectable carrot cake, and Jenni Barrett for her inventive giant jaffa cake. We also hosted a festive Christmas Jumper day last week – check out the video out!
Over the course of 2022, we have raised a whopping £4,295 for Suited for Success .
Are you hankering after another slice of Leena’s cheesecake, or gutted you missed out? Leena has so kindly shared her recipe with us, so you can make it for Christmas! Send in any pictures if you do manage to make it over the festive period!

Mrg Global Update The Team in Kuala Lumpur celebrated Christ - mas, and Jackson & Joe Ee’ Birthdays with a fabulous Dinner!
2022 has seen a lot of change for MRG’s brand, not to mention the team re - sponsible for its development and marketing with 3 out of the 4 team mem - bers having joined the business this year. We have a new identity, new values and not one but two new websites. We un - derstand where we have come from and where we are going and what really sets us apart. We are deliberately ‘Different by Design’. 2022 was about getting the groundwork done and now 2023 gives us the op - portunity to really embed our brand positioning. We sadly bid farewell to Becky and Kee-Anna in the summer, both of whom had made a real impact on our marketing. We then welcomed Eliane and Emi - ly to the team, who are both ready to continue making their mark next year. Earlier this year it was clear that our data and CRM needed to be focussed upon and so we welcomed Karl into the MRG team. I’m sure you’ll agree that he’s done an amazing job with our utilisation of Bull - horn in particular and will be focussed on helping us use our data to make more informed business decisions next year around business development opportunities and improving our tech stack and processes. I’m please to say that Karl has also accepted a permanent role with MRG as our Business Process Manager. I couldn’t be more pleased. All that’s left for me to say is thank you and how much I love being part of the MRG team and how supportive everyone is of each other. It’s a culture unlike any I have been part of before. I hope you all enjoy the festivities and I look forward to working with you all in 2023. Marketing & Operations Update
