Instructions for: Polymer Fridge Magnet
1. Set your press to 190°C and 200sec, medium pressure. You will use a 1mm rubber pad to press the polymer magnate.
2. Print your design in mirror image, using sublimation paper and ink.
3. You will press one side first, let it cool down, and then press the other side. Apply the print to the flat front side of the magnet and secure it with heat tape.
4. Place the magnet with print on the base of the press. The keyring will be at the bottom and the print will be on top of it. Then cover the print with the 1mm rubber pad.
5. Close the press and press for 200 sec.
6. When the time is up, open the press and remove the print immediately. Don’t worry about the warping or white paper scuff marks on the magnate at this stage. Let it cool down.
7. When the magnate is cooled down, place it back in the press again, and place it with the picture facing down. Put the rubber pad over it and press at the same time and temp. Let it then cool down again. This is to take out the warping. It will be flat after it is cooled down for the second time.
8. You can now wash off the white scuff marks from the magnate, with hand sope and paper wipes.
