Among them was also Tor Vergata, which showcased its initiatives within the “Study in Italy” pavilion, organized by INDIRE in collaboration with Uni-Italia. The University was represented by its International Area, specifically the Erasmus+ Office, which shared experiences and best practices with international institutions and established new partnerships. Italian university representatives also met with Lorenzo Solinas, Deputy Ambassador of Italy in Stockholm, to discuss higher education collaboration between Italy and Sweden. Tor Vergata participated at the event also as a member of the European alliance UNIVERSEH, one of the 35 alliances at the conference. UNIVERSEH is the only European University dedicated to Space Education that aims to create the European Space University. The project involves all major areas of the participating universities, allowing students from the seven-member institutions across Europe to benefit from a geographically distributed educational offer. It demonstrates how European cooperation drives innovation, creates growth opportunities for students, and enhances institutional competitiveness. Launched in 2019, the EU’s European Universities Initiative now brings together 65 alliances and over 570 institutions to promote innovation, mobility, and inclusiveness in higher education. Tor Vergata has been part of the UNIVERSEH Alliance since 2023.
