This is a shapey, well put together filly with a beautiful red dun color. This filly is well bred with Peptoboonsmal, High Brow Hickory and Docs Subscription on her papers. Her grandsire Once in a Blu Boon has over $12 million in progeny earnings. Kim rode her mother on the ranch until she had an injury and joined the broodmare band. This filly is currently in the LCC HTM program and will have 90 days of training at the sale. “Midge” has been athletic and eager to work in our program with a willing and happy demeanor. Grace is a flashy 4-year-old flaxen mare by a Bet Hesa Cat son. She was started at LCC in the fall of 2023. She returned last semester for the specialized training focused on reining, tracking the roping sled, and working the flag. Between her semesters at LCC, Julie’s teenage son rode her, and they attended 4-H practice sessions. She will work a gate, crosses a bridge and maneuvers around obstacles at a walk, trot, and lope. She has a great stop, frequently leaving 11s, and is eager to work. At sale time, she will have 60 days with Jace Hall covering a lot of hard miles on the ranch and continuing her cow work training.
