I would like to congratulate this year’s winners of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise. These awards are a great way of celebrating the success of exciting and innovative businesses across the UK; businesses which are leading the way with pioneering products or services, delivering impressive social mobility programmes or showing their commitment to excellent sustainable development practices. I would particularly like to congratulate the eight double award winners: SkyDemon; DNAFit Limited; Omnitek; Lumishore Limited; Resilience Communications Limited; Telensa Limited; Solentim Limited; and, Harrison Spinks. These companies have achieved double recognition, with awards for both innovation and international trade, showcasing the best of what the UK has to offer on the global stage. These awards are a special way of thanking everyone who works so hard to make your business a success. Your companies, both large and small, are the backbone of the UK economy and world- leaders in the industries of the future.
