Helping Employers Hire, Train, and Retain Veterans
Employers The V3 Program provides education, training, access to resources, and engagement opportunities for both military job seekers and the employers seeking to employ them. Employers learn national best practices and proven implementation skills to recruit, hire, train, and retain veterans and spouses. Supportive resources also include setting a veteran hiring goal, improving organizational military cultural competency and developing plans to meet organizational career and workforce development objectives. Employers have committed to hiring transitioning service members, veterans, and their families. Companies that complete all training requirements are recognized as official V3-Certified Companies, and are awarded a certificate from the Governor of Virginia. Veteran Employment Grant V3-certified employers may also be eligible for up to $10,000 in grants through the V3 Program for hiring and retaining veterans in Virginia.
