Zircon Decorative Concrete supplies an ever-growing demand from designers, architects and consumers for the raw beauty of this hardwearing and low maintenance product that has become an aspirational lifestyle concept. Applications include seamless concrete floors, custom-made barbecues and countertops where customers can utilise Zircon’s strength and reliability to make powerful creative statements. Customers can select six colour varieties and different polishing grades to achieve
interiors that are homely, warm or cool and edgy throughout styles that range from industrial, contemporary, modern and sleek. ULTRABEAD INSULATING LAYER Ultrabead is a poured insulating layer that improves the thermal performance of internal floors and offers a modern alternative to traditional insulating boards. Ultrabead encapsulates all service conduits, eliminates the thermal bridge and cold joints, provides a lightweight void filler to create a uniformly insulated layer ready for the floor screed application. Its liquid state acts as a void filler that improves airtightness and acoustic performance. Also, as only a single layer is required, it can be mixed, pumped and poured on site, making it quicker to install, less labour intensive and more cost effective. ULTRACEM® LIQUID FLOOR SCREED Ultracem® is a portland cement-based, pump-applied liquid floor screed which incorporates IntegraCure to remove the need for a curing agent and offers a much less laborious installation. Ultracem’s liquid form and thinner application enables a faster installation of 1000m 2 per day with increased drying times to enhance on-site productivity. The sheer
diversity of Ultracem® makes it the ideal liquid floor screed solution, highlighted by its compatibility with all standard floor coverings and wet areas to deliver unrivalled thermal conductivity levels and fast heat response times. ULTRAFLO® LIQUID FLOOR SCREED Ultraflo® is a self-levelling hemihydrate liquid floor screed and the perfect partner for underfloor heating. The product guarantees minimal shrinkage and cracking, improved heat responsiveness and reduced energy costs with all standard floor coverings. Unlike many products on the market, Ultraflo® doesn’t suffer from surface laitance, nor does it require buffing or grinding to the surface before applying the floor finishes. With reduced laying depths making the installation process much less laborious and faster drying times allowing for light traffic in just 24 hours, Ultraflo® is a superior choice to traditional sand:cement screeds.
