H anding over two Design & Build primary schools in the year we’ve just experienced is a testament to Woodvale Construction’s substantial resources, infrastructure and back-up procedures that ensured certainty of delivery during uncertain times. However, the intense, Covid-19 impacted delivery of the two schools - St Patrick’s PS, and Holy Evangelists’ PS - never once compromised on Woodvale’s commitment to bringing its creative and personal approach to each project, no matter how complex and challenging it was. The first phase of the £8m St Patrick’s PS was handed over in September 2021, providing a 21-classroom school and associated services; phase two – MUGA
pitch and car parking – is due to finish in early 2022. The two-phase, £7.6m Holy Evangelist PS Design & Build was completed in 2021. Phase one included a 21-classroom main building and associated services. Phase two encompassed a new nursery building, MUGA pitch renovation, demolition of former building, car parking and vehicular access road.
