Hood McGowan Kirk LLP provided Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for Holy Evangelists’ Primary School and St. Patrick’s Primary School, two inner city Primary Schools in Belfast. HMK was appointed on both schemes within the same month and the programmes for both projects ran largely in parallel. Despite the synergies in programme and type of building, HMK delivered two very distinct
schools that each met pupils’ and teachers’ very specific requirements.
HMK achieved this by collaborating closely with the schools and gaining a real insight into the needs and aspirations of building users and the importance of the facilities to the wider communities within which they reside. HMK was delighted to hand over two state-of-the-art new school buildings which will meet the pupils’ educational needs for many years to come.
