NT Sweeting – working with BMI Redland – was shortlisted in the Roof Tiling category at November’s National Federation of Roofing Contractors 2021 UK Roofing Awards for the re-roofing of an important Arts & Crafts home in Stockton, UK. The challenge faced by NT Sweeting was both preserving the heritage aesthetic of the 1896 property, and also ensuring the quality of roof covering and workmanship was on a par with the original installation. BMI Redland Rosemary Clay Classic plain tiles in Medium Mixed Brindle were specified and, using the BMI SpecMaster service, NT Sweeting replaced the 220m 2 roof encompassing 15 valleys and 10 hips. Itech Roofworks – working in association with BMI Icopal - was shortlisted in the Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing category at November’s National Federation of Roofing Contractors 2021 UK Roofing Awards for the installation of three new warm roofs on the plant rooms of the Hatfield Tunnel in Hertfordshire. Itech Roofworks stripped and re-roofed 1,750m 2
of flat roofs using BMI Icopal Siplast Primer, 30mm Thermazone Roofboard, BMI Icopal SA Primer and Pyrobar Carrier Membrane, the full BMI Sealoflex Prima System and Sealoflex Waterproof Coating.
