Day 1: UK to the USA Meet your tour manager at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Montgomery; the resting place of country legend Hank Williams and where a museum celebrates his career. Day 2: Montgomery to New Orleans Head south across Alabama, into Louisiana, and along the Gulf Coast to spend two nights in the Big Easy, New Orleans, and soak up the exuberant atmosphere. Optional Steamboat Dinner Jazz Cruise Day 3: New Orleans Either spend today at leisure exploring New Orleans or join the optional tours. Tonight, perhaps enjoy some jazz music in the French Quarter’s bars and clubs. Optional morning guided tour of the French Quarter and Afternoon Louisiana Swampland excursion. Day 4: New Orleans to Tupelo to Memphis Travel north into Mississippi; home of the Delta blues, Robert Johnson, and Sonny Boy Williamson. Visit Tupelo, the birthplace of Elvis Aaron Presley (entry payable locally). Continue to Elvis’s hometown, Memphis, on the bank of the Big Muddy. This evening, head to Beale Street to experience the restaurants, bars, and live music. Optional Entry into Elvis Presley’s home, Tupelo Day 5: Memphis Today explore the King’s home town and final resting place at leisure or join the optional excursion. Later, enjoy another evening in Memphis; perhaps sample the pork ribs that have led to its unofficial title of The Barbecue
