Notably, prevention services envisioned for FFPSA and children who are eligible represent only a portion of DCYF’s overall prevention portfolio. As the agency was founded with a commitment to expand prevention opportunities, numerous other financing mechanisms — including early childhood funding streams, home-visiting funds, and state general-fund allocations — also support a broad array of services.
