One of Burrell’s most successful inventions is PostureMedic, a device users wear to stretch the chest and anterior shoulder muscles and strengthen weak upper back muscles to hold the shoulders in place. Another is MyoBalls, a product that wraps extremities in a compression band lined with massage balls, easing plantar fasciitis, tight shin or calf muscles, carpal tunnel strain, and tennis or golfer’s elbow. Burrell also developed the PCore lower back brace, which offers hot or cold therapy and flexible or semi-rigid support in a single device. The products offered by Chiro1Source and PrimeKinetix empower chiropractors to ease pain in a systematic three-step process — by facilitating myofascial release, supporting joints and tendons through taping, and applying topical analgesic, Burrell says. “Rather than masking the pain and covering it up, we are attacking pain in a three-step process and really knocking it out.” PrimeKinetix has used the three-step process at pickleball tournaments and other events to help athletes complaining of tennis elbow or strained knees. The process is so effective that “these athletes can get back out there on the court and do well!”
