OCCC VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Just south of Interstate 40 along Interstate 44, you’ll find one of OKC’s most versatile performance venues at Oklahoma City Community College. The Visual and Performing Arts Center, known as VPAC, hosts a wide range of shows throughout the year—from country concerts and jazz ensembles to touring plays and community productions. OKLAHOMA CITY MUSEUM OF ART The Oklahoma City Museum of Art (OKCMOA) welcomes more than 135,000 visitors each year and features rotating exhibitions from around the world. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the museum offers an impressive collection spanning five centuries. Its permanent collection highlights American and European art from the 19th and 20th centuries, along with modern and contemporary works. A standout feature is the museum’s renowned collection of glass sculptures by artist Dale Chihuly, including one of the most comprehensive displays of his work anywhere. In 2021, OKCMOA hosted the world’s only exhibition of Roman frescoes from Ancient Pompeii—a milestone that showcased the museum’s growing international reputation.
