FREE HEATING DESIGN SERVICE AND HEAT LOSS CALCULATIONS Grant’s heating design service begins with the submission of house plans. Using these plans, Grant’s technical specialists carry out in-depth, room-by-room heat loss calculations in line with Technical Guidance Document F requirements. This information provides the heat load for each room and helps to calculate the required heat pump output, the hot water demands and underfloor heating and/or radiators for the property. Offering a complete and highly efficient heating solution for new builds, these integrated heating packages are individually sized and specified by the Grant technical specialists to suit the property and its owner’s heating requirements. ACHIEVING COMPLIANCE The technical specialists at Grant provide builders with peace of mind by helping to ensure compliance on all heating requirements for new build properties. New build properties in Northern Ireland are required to comply with building regulations to meet standards for energy performance as set out by Building Control Northern Ireland. The Grant team works with project specifiers to ensure from a heating perspective all performance requirements are met and to ensure future compliance. Compliance results in reduced carbon emissions and greater long-term savings for the property owner. ON-SITE COMMISSIONING FOR ALL HEAT PUMPS Following installation, all Grant Aerona 3 R32 air-to-water air source heat pumps are commissioned on site by Grant at no extra charge. This process ensures that the unit is installed correctly and set up to match the property’s individual requirements. Once all required commissioning checks have been carried
out by the Grant technical specialist, the on-site builder, plumber or homeowner will receive a demo of how the system works and will be issued with a completion certificate. DISTRIBUTION AND AFTERCARE All Grant products are available through plumbing and heating merchants – a full list of merchants can be found on the www.grantni.com website. A full aftercare service is provided by the Grant Service Network, which includes trained technicians and installers located throughout Northern Ireland. Should any spare parts be required at any time, these can be supplied promptly to an installer through Grant’s dedicated network of merchants.
