T he Paper Exchange’s striking the city. Clarke, who were awarded the £4m contract, designed, produced and delivered its own unitised system for the project. When designing the façade of a building, safety and structural integrity is of utmost importance. To ensure this, Clarke select materials that comply with all regulations and industry standards and inspect them for any potential issues. Peter Graham, Marketing Manager at scorched earth aluminium and glass façade can be seen from all over Clarke said, “Despite the pressure to meet deadlines, we strive to create innovative and cost-effective design solutions that meet the design teams’ concept. “At Clarke, the key pillars of our organisation are quality and sustainability.
This is at the forefront of all material selection choices, working with our key supply-chain partners AMS, Interpane and Spanwall to select materials and develop our offsite unitised solution. To reduce waste, ensure high quality whilst providing a façade that is thermally efficient, fully end-of-life recyclable and will stand the test of time.” Commenting on the completed project Peter said, “The most rewarding aspect of this project was working with Heron Bros to create a stunning façade. We have taken great pride in ensuring that the work was completed safely and to a high standard, and that all remedial and finishing works were done to the best of our ability. It has been a pleasure to be involved in this project, from the awarding of the contract to the final handover to the client.”
