KCC GROUP PROVIDES LUXURY SOLUTIONS TO THE PAPER EXCHANGE DEVELOPMENT… IRONMONGERY, ELECTRIC LOCKS, DOOR AUTOMATION AND RISER DOOR SYSTEMS
K CC Group was involved from the initial design and specification stage of The Paper Exchange, an 11-storey, Grade A commercial office development situated in the heart of Belfast on Chichester Street. The bespoke specification incorporated premium ironmongery, electric locks, door automation and riser door systems across all 11 floors. The brief was to deliver a luxurious finish, evident in every detail and component. The team opted for KCC grade modus ironmongery with satin brass finish, marrying functionality, durability and style. This contrasted against dark wooden door sets to create a distinctive look and emphasised the features of the ironmongery. High-quality return-to-door levers and long pull handles were used.
Even elongated brass push plates and electronic locking became design elements, offering contrast against dark wood. Luxury extended to bathrooms, with full-height door sets featuring satin brass handles, locks, indicators and hinges. Swing door automation at the main entrance matched gold accents on black frames, with colour-matched automatic operators and discreet sensors. Concealed riser doors maintained sleek aesthetics, integrating into feature walls made of various materials. Specialist SR2 high-security steel door sets, combining panels and escape hardware, were installed, integrating
