LOT 4 – The DNA color test was not on our side this year with the 954G bulls. Lot 4 is the only homozygous black 954G son in the sale. 533N’s coat color is not the only the thing he brings to the table. He is moderate, thick, and square made. He ranks in the top 10% for WW and 15% for YW. He is sired by the $35,000 Kessinger we purchased from Warner Beef Genetics.
LOT 3 – Don’t bypass the opportunity to add the 954G infuence to your herd. I realize it would have been nice to have had more HB sons but it didn’t happen! Lot 3 came in a little thin from the co-op herd but has done nothing but get better every day since his arrival to Chickamauga. He is built from the same mold as his flush brother but charts higher in the growth columns ranking in the top 30% for WW and YW.
