Talking Heads to reunite for Stop Making Sense anniversary restoration screening The members of Talking Heads have confirmed that they will regroup at the Toronto International Film this September. The band will reunite to do a Q&A on 11th September 2023 during the premiere of A24’s Stop Making Sense restoration – a release celebrating 40 years of Jonathan Demme’s original concert documentary Stop Making Sense, shot in 1983 and released in 1984.

The Weeknd says he won’t do any more tracks featuring other artists “unless Daft Punk get back together”. The Canadian star – real name Abel Tesfaye — announced his decision during a performance at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland last Wednesday (9th August), at the same time as previewing a new track, 'Another One Of Me’; his final feature. “I just wanna say, this, this is gonna be the last feature I ever do, ever in my career, so I wanna perform it for you guys tonight.”
Armin van Buuren’s double record-breaking set from the Burj Khalifa in collaboration with UNTOLD Dubai is available to stream now. The Dutch DJ played a 40-minute set from the 149th floor of the world’s tallest building to promote the first UNTOLD Dubai music festival, breaking the world record for the highest-ever DJ performance, as well as the largest LED screen ever used in a show.
