The title for the Ayrshire Hospice 2026 Calendar Photographic Competition is ‘Secret Ayrshire’. The theme is open to your personal interpretation, but we’re looking for stunning photographs that uncover the hidden gems of Ayrshire and Arran. Whether it’s a secluded spot off the beaten track or a fresh and rare perspective of a well-known location, we want to see the secret beauty of the region. Photos can be taken during any season – Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter – and may feature landscapes (urban or rural), wildlife, agriculture, or recreational activities. It’s up to you how you interpret the theme, but we encourage creative and unique viewpoints.

This could be a lesser-known location or a fresh perspective of a familiar landmark, capturing Ayrshire in a way that surprises and delights. 2. Photographs entered must be taken within Ayrshire and Arran. The Ayrshire Hospice’s decision as to the eligibility of individual photographs will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
