Microsoft Software & Systems Academy (MSSA) Microsoft and Embry-Riddle launched their MSSA partnership in 2015. Through this 18-week program, veterans earn college credit and are prepared to go to work as server and cloud administrators, cloud applications developers or cybersecurity administrators. Graduates interview with Microsoft or with representatives from 400 hiring partners, including Amazon, Oracle, Dell and Expedia. For the 80% of students who enter the program without a degree, this triples their earning potential. U.S. Department of Defense SkillBridge Aviation Maintenance Technology Program Embry-Riddle is collaborating with industry to address a shortage of skilled aviation maintenance technicians. This skills gap has the potential to jeopardize safety, raise maintenance costs and delay departures. As a partner to U.S. Department of Defense SkillBridge initiative, we are helping veterans transition to civilian careers in aviation maintenance. Graduates of a new nine-week program are guaranteed interviews with leading aviation partners.
