Referral Bonus & Veteran Sign-On Bonus Programs
We’re a great place to work, so why not encourage others that you know to join us? Remember, we have a referral bonus program as well as a veteran sign-on bonus program! Currently, employees of the company are immediately eligible to refer full-time candidates, regardless of position who, if hired, will result in a $500 referral bonus (less applicable taxes). Also, if the referred candidate is a veteran, the referring employee will receive an additional $250 bonus (less applicable taxes) at the time of hire. Additionally, veterans hired are eligible to receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus with the company. The Cook & Boardman Group values our veteran associates and their contributions to our Nation and our business. We are excited to provide additional hiring opportunities and incentives to more veterans in our communities.
2. Managers and supervisors to whom a candidate will report are excluded from receiving any referral bonuses. 3. Once a referral is hired, the employee designated will receive $250 of the referral bonus (plus $250 if the candidate is a veteran). Once the referral completes six (6) months of service, the employee designated will receive the remaining $250. 4. In the event that the same candidate is referred by more than one employee, the date of the earliest referral will designate the employee who will receive the bonus. If you have a candidate in mind for referral, instruct them to list you as their referral source when they complete their application via jobs.jobvite.com/cookandboardman.
All other program rules remain the same, as outlined below: 1. Referral bonuses are not paid for: 1) relatives of employees; 2) candidates previously employed by the company or its subsidiaries; 3) part-time employees who are hired to work less than 30 hours per week; or 4) temporary or contract employees actively engaged with the company who are converting to full-time employment.
