A Door-Job Well Done In the end, we replaced around sixty doors and frames, and several dozen sets of hardware. I can’t say enough about our wood door, frame, and hardware teams here at MJW. I’ve received various comments and emails from the GC’s superintendents and project managers - and even the VP of the company himself - thanking us for helping out so quickly. It especially meant a lot because that VP was also an elder in the Church. Our team was grateful to help ease this specific burden from the experience the congregation of Covenant Presbyterian Church and School suffered. I am proud, honored, and humbled to be a part of this team!”

SERVE award recipient, Scott Parker, shares his experience SERVE-ing Covenant Presbyterian Church and School, after the tragic shooting in Nashville on March 27th. Shooting Event Aftermath “In the early morning of Tuesday, March 28th, I received a call the Church would be in need of a few replacement/temporary doors as soon as possible, in order to have church services open that weekend. I paused everything I was working on at the time and jumped into conversations with the GC’s Superintendent and our wood door-shop team, then made a quick site visit to better understand what was needed. Danny Pitts and I quickly realized ‘a few temporary doors was not a few - but a few dozen! Sadly, there were bullet-ridden doors and frames, along with a good amount
