Calip Muab-E is a man on the move, and he’s looking to bring the entire community with him. A minister and one of Madison’s most prominent voices in the ght for social justice, Muab-El works with a number of organizations to create change on issues such as mass incarceration, economic inequality, student performance in schools, and the unequal distribution of funding to nonprot organizations. Needless to say, Muab-El has his hands full. “We’re actually staging what we call a revolution,” Muab-El says. “This is a revolution that we are intending to solidify...not just to establish a legacy, but to establish a model.” Muab-El says he wants to lay the groundwork for future generations of activists, but also recognizes the urgency to address these
