Calip Muab-E is a man on the move, and he’s looking to bring the entire community with him. A minister and one of Madison’s most prominent voices in the ght for social justice, Muab-El works with a number of organizations to create change on issues such as mass incarceration, economic inequality, student performance in schools, and the unequal distribution of funding to nonpro t organizations. Needless to say, Muab-El has his hands full. “We’re actually staging what we call a revolution,” Muab-El says. “This is a revolution that we are intending to solidify...not just to establish a legacy, but to establish a model.” Muab-El says he wants to lay the groundwork for future generations of activists, but also recognizes the urgency to address these
