We also strive to provide care that doesn’t break the bank. Our patients never feel pressured to agree to a course of treatment that will cost them a lot out of pocket. Let’s face it, dentistry can be expensive. The fact that we take the time to go over payment options with our patients is refreshing for them and something I hope will

In the eight years I’ve been a team member at Caring Modern Dentistry, I’ve worn a number of hats. I started as a treatment coordinator before being promoted to insurance coordinator, and I recently became the practice administrator. It’s an exciting new role for me — I’m working as an advocate for the entire practice. My main duty is to ensure that the operational side of the practice is as efficient and streamlined as possible, so the doctors and support staff can focus on providing awesome care. In my time at the practice, we’ve grown by leaps and bounds. When I started, we had one dentist on staff and six additional employees. Today we have four doctors and 14 employees, which is nothing short of astounding. I previously worked in Greensboro, so I was a bit skeptical to arrive in little ol’ Reidsville and see a charming house-office as my new place of work, but my skepticism was entirely misguided. Much of the credit for the success of our practice goes to Dr. Adams. Since the day I met him, he’s always had a vision for the future. His mission to bring top-level treatment to our area has been a constant. He’s always adopted what I like to think of as a “Field of Dreams” mentality. If you build a great practice, patients will come. Dr. Adams has sought to do just that. Another quality that makes Dr. Adams stand out is his unwavering dedication to putting patients first. While a lot of dentists say they do that, I’ve never seen anyone as committed to this ideal as Dr. Adams. We could be the most successful practice in the country, but if having that status required us to treat our patients less like neighbors and friends, it wouldn’t feel right at all. We want our patients to be comfortable and cared for whenever they walk through our doors. No amount of growth will ever matter more than that.

become the standard in our industry. Pretending treatment decisions don’t involve finances is foolish and irresponsible.

Everyone on staff reflects Dr. Adams’ caring, compassionate approach to dentistry. No matter how big we grow, we retain the small-town atmosphere that’s been present since I started here all those years ago. Being able to grow, offer more to our patients, and improve our services while still staying true to who we are is something I don’t take for granted. When I’m not working, you can find me hanging out with my husband and our three children. He’s a firefighter, so our family life is set around his schedule. Our eldest is a senior in high school, so we’re focused on enjoying as much time with him as possible before he heads off to Western Carolina in the fall. I’m also an avid at-home DIYer, but don’t tell that to Dr. Adams. I don’t want to become the practice handywoman as well.
