EARLY CHILDHOOD BA (Hons) Level 6 Top-Up Degree

Venue: South Downs Campus Duration: 1 year (full time - 1 day per week) Cost: £4,795 per year

Structure You are expected to attend one day a week at college alongside working in the sector. The course modules are: – Independent Project – Leading Professional Practice – Digital Child – Criminology and Childhood – Adventure Education (Option) – Children’s Literature and the Media (Option) Teaching & Learning You will explore psychological, sociological, global, cultural, economic and educational aspects of childhood. You will develop problem solving, critical analysis and independent thinking. You will be able to explore particular areas of interest within your Independent Project. Assessment Assessment will include a variety of methods including essays, reports, observations and academic presentations. You will be supported throughout and also be encouraged to monitor your own progress and to take the opportunity to discuss any issues with your lecturers during the course.

Overview This course provides progression for those students who wish to top-up their Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification. Delivered one day a week, you will study a range of modules which enable you to explore key aspects of childhood. This course will help you develop problem solving, critical analysis and independent thinking skills. Why Choose this Course?
