When it comes to university-level education, more businesses are looking to their local Further Education college to provide a more cost effective way of upskilling their workforce, as well as recruiting their team of the future. At HSDC we pride ourselves on working with local businesses to embed industry within the heart of our curriculum. Our courses are designed to develop a student’s expertise and employability skills, whilst providing them with the opportunity to progress within the workplace. From 2023, HSDC will also be part of the brand new South Coast Institute of Technology. See page 37 for more information. Our flexible courses allow a student to work alongside their employment, creating a study and work life balance. A number of our full time courses are even delivered one day a week. For example, the Foundation Degree in Early Years is taught one day a week and is perfect for those who want to take the next step in their personal and professional development, whilst working in a childcare setting.
