UCPR administration presented coun- ties council with an update report on the counties $ve-year accessibility improvement plan. Almost all capital works accessibility improvements for counties facilities sche- duled for 2015 will be done by year’s end, except for the asphalt work and sidewalk curbing at the UCPR building at 2169 Laurier Street. More planning is needed because of a lack of space in the existing parking lot area. The United Counties of Prescott-Russell (UCPR) 2015 bud- get included an allocation in its capital works por- tion for work on setting up a village ambulance station in Bourget as part of the UCPR ambulance service setup in the City of Clarence-Rockland. Michel Chrétien, UCPR emergency services direc- tor, reported to the counties’ emergency services advisory committee that the project has to be delayed.
