21 KINGLY STREET What makes Kolamba special?

We are passionate about bringing Sri Lankan home cooking to London – celebrating the flavours and dishes we grew up with and evoking a sense of the island from the minute you step into the restaurant. What dish would you recommend for our readers? The Chatti Roast is not only our favourite but that of our diners. Also, give string hoppers a go – they’re rice flour noodles, the perfect lighter alternative to rice and brilliant with nearly all curries.

Describe your food in three words. Fiery, bold and indulgent. –– Ganni 36 BEAK STREET Who is the Ganni girl?

02

Ganni is not one uniform persona or gender – it’s Ganni girls, plural – everyone is welcome. Ganni girls march to the beat of their own drum. They’re the people we meet who inspire us with their kick-ass energy and way of being. What do you love about Carnaby? We love having so many fab restaurants on our doorstep, Pastaio being a firm favourite. What’s on the Ganni playlist? David Bowie, Robyn, Fleetwood Mac, Lykke Li and Diana Ross. –– Folie 37 GOLDEN SQUARE Describe Folie in three words. Generosity, revelry and elegance. What is your best-selling dish? The charcoal-roasted octopus as a starter and confit lamb shoulder to share as a main are both amazing. What do you love about Soho? Soho is a place where people from every background and age group come to meet for great food, drink and a lot of fun.
