Finn Brokenshire pulled it out and, as 100 kilograms of body mass went to sit down, Louis’s eyes widened in shock when he missed the seat and slowly collapsed onto the floor. He let out a groan of despair. At the moment of impact, the lasagne went flying, painting the walls, floor and ceiling of the common room. There he lay on the ground face up, in a mess of mince and pasta, crying his eyes out not because his tailbone was sore, but because he couldn’t eat his lunch. The rest of common room crying their eyes out. A truly classic moment. I would like to thank the entire Year 13 group for all they have contributed to the House, especially my deputy George Matheson. I would also like to thank the Assistant Housemasters for all the work they have done for the House. But, most importantly, I would like to thank Mr Nicholson for the past nine years he has been Housemaster of Rolleston. He has moulded and shaped the minds of over 170 boys in his time at such a pivotal stage of their lives. There are few men in the world like Mr Nicholson. A fiercely loyal and devoted man, he went out to bat for us students so many times throughout the year, because he was on our side. I am going to miss the wisdom he shared at House meetings, his dedication to help us students and his easy-going nature. He is actually a big softie who wears his heart on his sleeve. I wish him all the best for his future endeavours and thank him for the impact he has had on each and every student in Rolleston House. My time at Rolleston has been something truly special and I will treasure it in my heart for the rest of my life.
