Individual Events There were no new records in the U14 championship this year. Daniel Bridgman swam strongly to become the U14 champion for 2019 with 70 points. Second place went to Max Harris on 57 points, and third place to Jordan Astley with 55 points. In the junior championship, Harry Greenwood was champion with 52 points. In second place was Jacob Clements on 44, followed by Sam Idiens with 41. Four intermediate records were broken this year. 100m breaststroke and Bradley set new records in the 100m and 200m freestyle events. Gus Morrow came third with 48 points. Louis Clark set two new school records in the senior championship in the 200m individual medley and 200m freestyle events. He tallied 59 points to become the senior champion. Nathan Penrose placed second with 54 points and Connor Graham third with 41 points. House Cups In first place for the Sprint Relay Cup was Harper House, followed by Rolleston House, and Julius House in third place.

Term 1 is always a busy time for coaches and swimmers alike, in preparation for the school swimming sports. A lot of help is also provided by College teaching staff not associated with aquatics. A big thank you to them for helping make the heats run smoothly. The school swimming championships were held in the College pool on Monday 11 February.
