Swimming in the 15 years age group, he achieved gold and national titles in the 200m and 100m breaststroke, silver in the 50m breaststroke and 200m backstroke and bronze in the 100m backstroke. He also came fourth in the 100m individual medley and fifth in the 50m backstroke. Congratulations to James for these outstanding results. SWIMMING COLOURS Louis Clark Louis has had a successful swim season. He is our current senior champion and was first in the Open 200m freestyle at the Canterbury championships. He also won the New Zealand schools open water title earlier this year. At the national age group championships, Louis claimed three silver medals in the 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle events, and he is a member of the New Zealand Swimming bronze
training squad. For these, and his achievements in water polo and surf lifesaving, Louis was named best all-round young sportsman who has achieved in more than one sporting code at the 2019 Zonta Awards.
