Off-Campus Housing Packet New York 2024–2025
Hello, Future Husky! We are so excited to have you join us at Word of Life Bible Institute and Davis College! Below are the details of each cabin we offer for off-campus housing. All the cabins are state names and are located at The Pines, across the street from the Bible Institute. Maine and South Carolina (2–person cabins*): $400 per month • Both cabins have a main room (queen or double bed), a small kitchen (fully furnished), and a bathroom with a shower. Maryland and Pennsylvania (4–person cabins*): $500 per month • Both cabins have a main room (sleeper sofa), a bedroom (double bed), an apartment-sized kitchen (fully furnished), and a bathroom with a tub shower. Massachusetts and New York (6–person cabins*): $600 per month • Each cabin has a main room (sleeper sofa), a first bedroom (queen bed), a second bedroom (2 single beds), an apartment-sized kitchen (fully furnished), and a bathroom with a shower. • Please note: The New York cabin has 2 bunk beds in the second bedroom instead of 2 singles. Vermont (8-person cabin*): $900 per month • Each cabin has a main room (sleeper sofa), a first bedroom (double bed), a second bedroom (2 bunk beds), a third bedroom (2 single beds), an apartment-sized kitchen (fully furnished), and a bathroom with a tub shower.
*Each number represents the max capacity of the cabin; this does not mean you are automatically housed with other students.
Every cabin has the following:
• Kitchen: Fridge, oven/stove, table and chairs or picnic table, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. All cabins will be stocked with pots and pans, plates, bowls, and utensils. You may bring your own household items if you wish, but Word of Life is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. • Bedroom: Closet and/or dresser(s) • Bathroom: Sink, toilet, and either a tub shower or regular shower • Main Room: Couches, chairs, and end tables (no TV)

About the cabin rental:
• The cost includes all utilities: Wi-Fi, heat, and water. • A $50 security deposit is due with first month’s rent payment.
• Rent is not included in your tuition. However, because your housing is off campus, you are not charged the Room and Board Fees. This also means you will have to pay for meals if you are eating at the Bible Institute, as meals are not included in the rent. You can buy meal punch cards, purchasing 10 lunches or 10 dinners at a time, or you can contact our staff in student accounts to discuss purchasing a larger meal package. • No pets allowed, sorry! • No moving furniture (this includes bringing furniture in as well as taking furniture out). • Laundry machines are available at the Bible Institute.
