FUN WITH FLORAL ART Have fun with flowers! Create a new and exciting floral art arrangement each week. Learn the tricks of the trade to impress your friends and guests in this practical step by step course. No prior experience necessary. WEA CENTRE SACRED GEOMETRY WORKSHOP Sacred Geometry is the study of the spiritual meaning of geometric shapes and its applications to the shapes and patterns we find in nature. Students will learn 3 basic sacred geometry patterns, and how these patterns can be incorporated into the construction of Mandalas. WEA CENTRE BOOKBINDING FOR BEGINNERS Come and learn all about making simple, handmade books. Over the duration of four weeks, you will be introduced to the tools, techniques, and principles of making a variety of books. LEADLIGHTING FOR BEGINNERS Learn how to make your own leadlight panel. A variety of beginner patterns are supplied which are designed to easily guide you through cutting glass, placing lead, soldering joints and then finally puttying and polishing your finished piece. Materials and tools cost approximately $300. It is not advisable to do this course if you are pregnant as you are working with lead. WEA CENTRE RESIN CHEESEBOARD & COASTERS Make your own resin cheeseboard and 4 coasters. Learn the safety, the materials and basic techniques in prepping resin art. A demonstration is provided from beginning to end, then you create your homeware pieces. The resin used is food safe, low odour and non-toxic, so no masks required.
