FLORAL WORKSHOP - MAKE A CUPCAKE Discover floral design in this hands-on workshop where you'll decorate dainty cupcakes using fresh flowers. POLYMER CLAY JEWELLERY Discover the vibrant world of polymer clay and create your own unique jewellery! LINOCUT PRINTMAKING FOR BEGINNERS This beginner workshop teaches you how to carve and print a 10 x 15 cm Renoir Ezy Carve block using both fine and bold lines. Work from provided designs or create your own. You’ll leave with your carved block, at least three prints, and practical skills to continue printing at home. All materials, valued at $50 and supplied by the tutor, are included in the fee. RESIN CHEESEBOARD & COASTERS Learn about the safety around using resin, the materials required, and the basic techniques in prepping. A demonstration will be provided first in creating resin art on a paddle board and 4 plywood coasters from beginning to end. You then get a chance to create your 2 homeware pieces. The resin used during the session is low odour and non-toxic, so you are not required to wear any masks. The resin used is also food safe. WEA CENTRE NATURAL SOAP MAKING Learn how to make your own natural soap at home! In this fun workshop, students will learn to make one basic soap recipe, and be taught the fundamentals of soapmaking including formulating their own natural soaps. Please note that there is a short list of materials (mostly household items) for you to bring written on your receipt. Soap ingredients will be supplied by your tutor and included in the course fee. GIANT PAPER FLOWER WORKSHOP This fun and creative 4.5-hour workshop is an engaging, hands-on experience, where participants will create their own oversized paper flower with a stem and leaves. Learn a new paper crafting skill, and display these flowers in the home (like a child’s bedroom), give them as a gift or even use them to decorate your own event or party. ONE DAY POTTERY WORKSHOP – PLATTERS This 1 day course will give participants the opportunity to create up to 3 unique slab built platters using a high firing food safe clay. Students will be guided through basic design, hand building, decoration and finishing techniques to complete functional pieces. The platters will be glazed and fired for the students, ready to collect within 1 month of finishing the course.
