Atlas PT. March Newsletter

March 2019

Toward the end of January, we visited the beach near TJ’s other job, and took a walk along the frozen shore lines of the Bay and Magothy River! It was very cool and strange to see all the ice where you’re used to seeing sand and surf! TJ, Rebekah, and I attended the annual American Physical Therapy Association conference this year for different educational and networking opportunities. It was held in Washington D.C. and approximately 17,000 people were in attendance. Rebekah attended a Recognition Ceremony for newly certified clinical specialists. She was one of 1,475 newly certified specialists in Orthopedics

in 2018. She studied hard and enhanced her skills in order to earn this special certification prior to starting with Atlas last Spring. Rebekah and I also got to meet up with several old classmates while we were at a University of Delaware alumni event! My PT class had a great turn-out for the alumni reception (8 out of 32 who completed the program) and Bekah had fun seeing some friends and co-workers she worked with at Delaware up until last Winter. We’ve been very busy here at Atlas PT, but we’ve been having a blast! What have you been up to? - Dr. Laura Sanner, Founder of Atlas PT
