Transfer from Adelaide for a mid-afternoon departure of the PS Murray Princess operated by Captain Cook Cruises. Cruise downriver while you enjoy pre-dinner drinks and a welcome dinner. (D) Day 2: Mundarra - Salt Bush Flat Cruise to Murray Bridge and enjoy a guided tour of the town’s historic landmarks and local attractions. Alternatively you may like to take the wildlife tour at Monarto Zoo (additional cost). Then you begin your journey upriver, with evening entertainment provided by the talented crew. (BLD) Day 3: Salt Bush Flat - River View Lodge Experience a morning talk about the riverland’s bountiful food and wine trail and join a discovery vessel in the afternoon for a backwater tour. In the evening, join the Captain and officers for pre-dinner drinks, dinner and dance. (BLD) Day 4: River View Lodge - Mannum - Adelaide After breakfast, the PS Murray Princess arrives at Mannum where you will be transferred back to Adelaide. Standard & Superior: Clare Country Club Days 2 & 3: Clare Valley - Flinders Ranges (310km/ 195 miles/ 4 hours) Detour to the former copper mining town of Burra and then head out into the outback to the limestone outcrop of Wilpena Pound. Your standard option accommodation, Wilpena Pound Resort, is spectacularly located within the Flinders Ranges National Park. Discover a haven of outback hospitality with National Park Visitor Information Centre, restaurant, bar/ bistro, swimming pool and general store. Enjoy hiking treks to a multitude of lookout spots and Brachina Gorge, home to the yellow-footed rock wallaby.
