Pricesareperpersonbasedon twinshare Economy from  Day 1: Adelaide - Kangaroo Island Head to Seal Bay Conservation Park and learn how the Australian Sea Lion survives the rigours of the Southern Ocean. The colony of bulls, cows and pups rest on the beach where you can walk amongst them. Traverse the centre of the Island through serene, rural landscapes. Next up it is the Wildlife Park which was set up as an animal refuge. Lunch will be a gourmet picnic accompanied by South Australian beer and wine. Visit stunning north coast beaches of Stokes Bay and Snellings Beach. Later in the day visit the Kangaroos, Wallabies and perhaps the Endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo Start at Rocky River, to see kangaroos laze and Cape Barren geese graze. Then to Admirals Arch to see the Long Nosed Fur Seals. Head to Remarkable Rocks where the forces of nature have carved modern sculptures out of the huge granite boulders. After a short bush walk enjoy a traditional BBQ lunch, after which you will see koalas and kangaroos. Your guide will take you to the Conservation Park where you will enjoy viewing the large mob’ of Kangaroo’s that graze the grassy flats and shelter in the surrounding bush. Wander through some of the old relics that speak of a by gone era of early pioneer farming. Next stop is Vivonne Bay, with its crystal clear turquoise water. Stroll along the one Australia’s best beaches and fossil for shells or take a dip, then it is time to return back to Adelaide. (LD) Day 2: Kangaroo Island - Adelaide Day 1: Adelaide - Cape Jervis - Kangaroo Island (145 kms/ 90 miles/ 4 hours) Travel south from Adelaide and commence your drive to Cape Jervis Wharf where you join the Kangaroo Island Sealink ferry from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. As you have 2 nights to explore Kangaroo Island, it is recommended that you spend a day exploring the north part of the island, and another day exploring the south section. Unmissable highlights include the sea lions at Seal Bay, Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks. Hotel: Mercure Kangaroo Island Hotel (2 nights) Day 2: Kangaroo Island Begin your day at the Flinders Chase National Park which is about an hour and a half’s drive from Kingscote or 2 hours from Penneshaw. Top attractions are the awe-inspiring Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch where you can watch fur seals playing in the rock pools nearby. Next, continue your drive east along the South Coast Road and make a stop at Seal Bay. Seal Bay is located about 45 minutes’ drive from Kingscote, the island’s main township. The major attractions are the large colony of Australian sea lions and nearby Bales Bay, where there is a sweeping sandy beach and picnic facilities. Day 3: Depart Kangaroo Island – Cape Jervis – Adelaide (145 kms/ 90 miles/ 4 hours) Drive to Penneshaw Wharf, and board the Kangaroo Island Sealink ferry for Cape Jervis on the mainland. Once back on the mainland, continue the Main South Road back to Adelaide.
