5/10/2024 FLEM Held up for clear running from the 400m to the 300m. 10/08/2024 RAND Raced wide and without cover throughout the event. 6/07/2024 FLEM Began awkwardly. Rider and Trainer could offer no explanation for the performance.Trainer Mr P Hardacre advised that subsequent blood tests and x-rays had revealed no abnormalities, however the gelding was found to have some soreness in its hamstrings which will be treated. Mr Hardacre advised that Press Down will now be freshened up.

19/10/2024 CAUL Slow to begin. Held up for clear running from the 400m to the 300m. Rider said mount was slow to begin and settled back. Added as he felt he could not move wider he shifted in to improve near the 600m. Added on straightening was hampered and then once clear mount ran on well.

27/09/2024 M V Raced wide without cover. Rider reported the gelding wad beaten for speed in the early stages and from the wide barrier was caught wide and failed to finish off the race. Post-race Vet Exam - no abnormalities.
Race 4 The Damien Oliver 1400m Mighty Ulysses (GB) 19/10/2024 CAUL Steadied when hampered near the 400m.Held up for clear running from the 400m to the 300m. Another Wil 12/10/2024 CAUL Rider reported it had not necessarily been the intention to lead, however when challenged by another runner through the early stages, was reluctant to surrender the lead and trail that gelding. Rider added horse travelled well throughout, however was somewhat disappointed in the manner in which the gelding finished the race off. Post-race Vet Exam - no abnormalities.

Had difficulty obtaining clear running over the concluding stages. Approaching the winning post was eased and shifted inwards when awkwardly placed close to heels. 7/10/2024 W FM From its wide barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages.
