Born and raised in Johannesburg, DJ D Double D has conquered an industry that is competitive and merciless. He pulls out all the stops, leaving no stone unturned in his quest for success. And boy, has he succeeded! In 2014, he was dubbed a “Pro DJ” by the official Pioneer DJ Institute and became an Official Pioneer DJ Brand Ambassador, a major breakthrough that paved the way for his future success. That same year, DJ D Double D joined the Vth Season team, working alongside AKA, Yanga Chief, and Tressor.

In 2016, he signed under Fresh 2 Def Productions, founded by award-winning hip-hop artist Da L.E.S, and became the official tour DJ and sound engineer for Da L.E.S. He's been working with him since then, making sure the beats are always fresh and pumping. But that's not all. DJ D Double D went independent in 2018, opening his own record label and creative agency, Mount Blanc Media, where he works behind the scenes with some of South Africa's biggest artists and brands. He's even founded Africa's first DJ Record Pool North Side DJ Tools, providing DJs and radio stations with the essential audio edits they need.
