M eet Kay-Lee Goch, also known as OFFICIAL DJ KAY-DEE, a young and talented female DJ from Cape Town, South Africa, who is taking the music world by storm. With her unique blend of House, Tech-house, Melodic Techno, Techno, and EDM music, Kay-Dee knows how to get the crowd into a state of excitement and energy, and her passion for music has made her one of the most sought-after DJs in South Africa. Kay-Dee's journey began when she completed numerous DJ courses, including the Pioneer Pro DJ course, Ultimate DJ course, Music Production and Turntablism courses, and studied at Cape Audio College. She completed her Music Production course and graduated at Rise Academy, where she received training on SL1200 turntables. In 2019, Kay-Dee entered a DJ competition hosted by Valley of Light and made it to the top 10 finals.
She went on to win the competition, which gave her the opportunity to open the Main Stage for Valley of Light on 7 December 2019. Since then, she has played alongside many well-known artists, including TIMO ODV, Jack Parow, Mark Stent, Jon Mesquita, and Chunda Munki. Kay-Dee is also very well-known in the U18 scene, playing numerous events, house parties, and private functions. She has even started her own U18 POP UP club called “ theaceofclubs .” Although she enjoys playing private events, her dream is to become an international DJ and play at some of the world's biggest festivals and clubs. With over 120k Facebook followers and more than 4600 Instagram followers since November 2019, Kay-Dee's brand value is on the rise. Her unique ability to create energy on the dance floor has inspired her to work towards her passion for music and the love for the crowd, making her a successful DJ.
