B lackstar Amplification has been a go-to brand for guitarists of all genres for years, thanks to their exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Their latest release, the Amped 3, is the next generation of the Amped line and has received much excitement from fans and critics alike. Following on from the recent Amped 2, the Amped 3 includes a new reverb, more distortion tones, and finally, presets that allow you to save and load your own settings. With 100-watt power, the Amped 3 is a versatile amplifier that offers a lot of flexibility in terms of sound. The Amped 3 has three modes: Clean, Crunch, and Overdrive, each with two sub-modes.
You can choose between Warm and Bright for the Clean mode, Crunch and Supercrunch for the Crunch mode, and OD1 and OD2 for the Overdrive mode. The Amped 3 also includes a boost and a reverb, with two options for each. The boost can be set Pre or Post, and the reverb can be set to Dark or Light. Compared to Amped 1, Amped 2, and Amped 3, there are many similarities. Both Amped 2 and Amped 3 have three power amplifier emulations of different tubes - EL84, EL34, and 6L6 - and a presence controller. You can switch between the output powers of 100 watts, 20 watts, or 1 watt with both Amped 2 and Amped 3 .
