Audio-Technica ATH-SQ1TW Review: Budget option with great fundamentals.
A udio-Technica is a well-known and respected brand in the world of audio equipment. Their range of audio products is extensive, and they have something for every need and budget. Among their many offerings are the ATH-SQ1TW wireless earbuds, which have gained a reputation for being stylish and functional. The design of the ATH-SQ1TW is simple and elegant, with a square shape and subtle gray logos on each side. The hard plastic fins are more for aesthetic purposes than anything else, and the earbuds themselves are not too bulky, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. Achieving a secure fit is easy, as Audio-Technica includes four different ear tip sizes to cater to different ear sizes. One of the standout features of the ATH-SQ1TW is the touch-sensitive controls, which are locked until you're ready to use them.
This is a thoughtful design decision, as it eliminates the possibility of accidentally starting music playback before you're ready. The low-latency mode is another noteworthy feature, although it may not be a game-changer for everyone. However, if you're someone who wants the most seamless audio-visual experience possible, this feature may be attractive. Battery performance is excellent with the ATH-SQ1TW, providing almost eight hours of playback on a single charge. This is considerably better than the estimated 6 hours and 30 minutes provided by Audio-Technica. Quick charging is also supported, with just five minutes of charge time providing an additional hour of playback.
If you're in the market for a new pair of earbuds, the ATH-SQ1TW is definitely worth considering.
