Breeding American System of Judging State Rule IV-6 Does not Apply

Breeding Rules 1. Scrapie tags shall be used to identify all entries. 2. Lambs must show lamb’s teeth.

3. Registry by the applicable association is required except for Wether Sire/Wether Dam classes. See State Rules and Livestock Department definitions. All original registration papers must be checked no later than Tuesday, June 20 at 8 pm. 4. All Wether Sire/Dam Entries must be weighed on Tuesday, June 20 at 7 pm. Entries will be divided into classes based on weight. If needed, based on entry numbers. 5. Ewes must have lambed by two years old. 6. All registered breeds will show together. 4-H and FFA are judged together. 7. Division B and C will compete for Supreme Champion Ram and Supreme Champion Ewe. 8. The fair will not accept sheep from scrapie “Non-Compliant” flocks or animals that are scrapie positive or scrapie suspects. See State Rules.
