CONGREGATION OHEV SHALOM
Congregation Ohev Shalom warmly invites the Jewish community to join us in celebrating and meaningfully observing the upcoming High Holidays. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mark a season of reflection, renewal, and hope. Together, we pause to look back on the year gone by – acknowledging our challenges and celebrating our blessings – while turning our hearts toward the year ahead with intention and purpose. These sacred days call us to seek forgiveness, extend compassion, and reaffirm our commitment to living lives guided by Jewish values. At Congregation Ohev Shalom, we believe the High Holidays are best experienced within a community where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and inspired. As a Conservative, egalitarian, and inclusive congregation, we honor the beauty of our traditions while embracing the diversity of today’s Jewish experience. This year, we are especially excited to share our first High Holidays with Cantor Raquel Gershon, joining Rabbi Geoffrey Spector in leading our congregation through prayer, song, and spiritual reflection. Cantor Gershon’s warm presence and uplifting voice will bring new energy and depth to our worship, while Rabbi Spector’s thoughtful guidance continues to nurture our community’s spiritual growth. Together, they will guide us through services that uplift the soul and connect us to our heritage in powerful and meaningful ways.
