Fall is upon us at Congregation of Reform Judaism (CRJ), and that means our building is bustling again. Our Beit Midrash program is running on Sundays and includes the Torah Tots program for two- and three-year-olds, a pre-K program for four-year-olds, and our JEEP program for kindergarten through sixth graders. The Making Mitzvot program is for seventh graders, and YALA is for eighth through 12th graders. Our calendar is full of programs for all ages, from monthly Tot Shabbats for families with young children to the Sisterhood group. Chabad of South Orlando is excited to announce that construction has begun on a new community mikvah, the
first of its kind in the area. A mikvah is a ritual bath central to Jewish tradition, used for spiritual renewal and family life. While its roots are thousands of years old, the new South Orlando Mikvah will be a modern, welcoming space built to the highest standards of comfort, privacy, and design. The facility will feature a warm, spa-like atmosphere, complete with private preparation rooms, elegant décor, and state-of-the-art amenities designed to ensure a dignified and uplifting experience. Every detail of the architecture has been carefully planned to balance tradition with contemporary elegance. The project represents an important step forward for Orlando’s growing Jewish community.
