Founded in 1619, the College provides an inspiring backdrop for weddings, conferences, celebrations, film shoots and exhibitions. Just minutes from central London yet surrounded by peaceful green landscape, our venues combine heritage charm with exceptional service. We are committed to operating responsibly, with sustainable practices that help protect our estate and reduce our environmental impact. All profits generated through Dulwich College Enterprises Ltd support bursaries and scholarships, meaning your event directly contributes to the College’s ongoing educational mission.

Barry Buildings

The Barry Buildings form the historic heart of Dulwich College, offering a collection of elegant, characterful spaces for standout events. From the impressive Great Hall to the recently refurbished Lower Hall and the adjoining Cloisters, each room provides a unique backdrop suited to weddings, conferences, celebrations and film productions. With versatile layouts and a mix of large and intimate areas, the Barry Buildings can accommodate events of all styles and sizes.

Set in its own garden, the Old Library combines timeless charm with versatile elegance. Fully licensed for civil ceremonies, it’s perfect for weddings, conferences, intimate dinners, and bespoke events. With stunning photo opportunities overlooking Dulwich College cricket grounds, the venue offers three distinct spaces—the Main Hall, Rotunda, and Carver Room—each with its own character, allowing you to tailor the setting to your event.

The Pavilion

Located on the upper floor of our charming Pavilion, the Salle is a warm and welcoming venue, ideal for dinners, parties, and sports functions. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a fully staffed bar, optional exclusive access to the College grounds and cricket pitches, and stunning views of the college from balconies on both sides. Perfectly suited for summer events or corporate away days, this self-contained space also offers the option of garden-style parties or al fresco dining with marquees and stretch tents available if desired.

The Laboratory

The Laboratory is a contemporary and versatile venue, well suited to conferences, AGMs, drinks receptions and large-scale events. Its modern design and flexible layout make it ideal for both formal and dynamic event formats. The venue centres around two key spaces: the 240-seat Auditorium and the striking James Caird Hall, with additional Infomatic Suites available for breakout sessions and meetings. With state-of-the-art facilities, adaptable seating and a bright, open atmosphere, The Laboratory offers a polished setting for professional and high-impact events.

The Edward Alleyn Theatre

Located on campus and named after the College’s founder, the Edward Alleyn Theatre is a versatile venue ideal for performances, smaller parties, and a wide range of events. The theatre comprises three interconnected spaces—the foyer, main stage, and rehearsal room—allowing for flexible event layouts. Following recent renovations, the venue offers modern amenities including a fully staffed bar in the foyer, a professional lighting rig, and auditorium seating facing the main stage.

Trevor Bailey Sports Ground

Located just beyond the main College campus, the Trevor Bailey Sports Ground—named after England Test cricketer and Old Alleynian Trevor Bailey—offers a versatile venue with a strong sporting heritage. Built in the late 1960s, the venue features a spacious hall, a fully staffed bar and a separate lounge overlooking the extensive grounds. Well suited to parties, corporate away days, and sports-focused events, the Trevor Bailey Sports Ground provides a more expansive alternative to the on-campus Pavilion Salle.
